Description

Bromothymol Blue TS (Test Solution) is a pH indicator solution prepared by dissolving bromothymol blue in a suitable solvent, usually water or alcohol. It is used to determine pH in the range of approximately 6.0 to 7.6. The solution changes color from yellow in acidic conditions (pH below 6.0) to blue in alkaline conditions (pH above 7.6), with a green intermediate color around neutral pH, making it useful in titrations and various laboratory pH tests.
