Description

Anthrone TS (Test Solution) is a reagent solution prepared by dissolving anthrone in a concentrated sulfuric acid or ethanol mixture. It is widely used in biochemical assays for the qualitative and quantitative estimation of carbohydrates. The solution reacts with sugars to produce a green to blue-green complex, aiding in spectrophotometric analysis.
